ADIDAS | PAUL POGBA | "HYPE FILM" 

The SS17 adidas brand show was all about creativity. How to harness it and how to use it in sport. To add to their roster of awe inspiring athletes who play with their creativity, adidas signed Paul Pogba. When we were first tasked with the assignment we knew we would be faced with the challenge of making game footage look interesting and more importantly both creative and fun. As lead art director for GBC SS17 I stumbled upon "Computer Team" a talented pair of illustrators/animators from Portland, Oregon. Our creative director was able to invite them into the agency, where I briefed them with mock ups using their illustration style to animate and integrate hyper visual metaphors into the game footage. They took the assignment and ran with it. I helped source to song "new level" and am very happy about where the art direction led us.

ADIDAS | 3C's | "BRAND INITIATIVES" 

The SS17 adidas brand show was all about creativity. Part of being creative is to find ways to do things better and not just for sport, but for all of mankind and our planet. The "3C's" Creativity, Collaboration, Confidence video played a hand in setting the tone for who adidas is as a brand. Creative in their approach to design and innovation. Collaborative when it comes to making the world we share better. Confident to standing again prejudice and elevating the human spirit. As art director I saw this correlation and added structure the the film by using the three C's and developing title cards for them. The tone is emotional and cinematic. I also helped visualize their partnership with Parley for the oceans by writing the line "the ocean connects us, sport connects us"... In addition, showing a montage of athlete all around the word playing sport in the places they love.
